Yellow Horned-Poppy - Glaucium flavum

Native to Europe, Northern Africa and the temperate zones in Western Asia. This summer flowering coastal poppy grows on shingle beaches, sand dunes and cliffs. Will flower in June and later followed by the horned like curling seedpods and if these are broken the plant will exude a yellow sap that is poisonous.
