Blue Wave Butterfly-Myscelia cyan iris

Also known as the Blue Banded Butterfly. The adults are not great nectar feeders and prefer to feed on rotten fruits. Adult males tend to sit on tree trunks waiting for a female to pass by. Found in Texas Mexico to Peru.
