Samadhi at Khorian
Being an old architecture lover, sometimes I come across structures, which made me spell bound for a moment. During our recent exploration in Lahore outskirts, I came across Samadhi which was half demolished in order to widen the road located in Khorian village. The inside fresco art work was so beautiful that it really made me cry from inside. What our archeological department is doing, what the hell they are not saving these great heritage. There are many such structures will vanish in few years and our next generations will not even know that such an art ever exists.
Our archeological department main authorities who consider walled city and Lahore fort the only cultural heritage center. Wasting millions of funds. Let’s enjoy Rangeela rickshaw in walled city these structure need to be end……..
