Kumiko suddenly thought something smelled off. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but she could smell something.

"Hmm, what?" She said, looking slightly dazed for a moment. If Miko's eyes could be seen, they'd have gone distant. Into what shecalled the 'grayed out' zone. "D-d-d-d....deborah l-l-likes them." She said stumbling over her words well. For a moment she's confused and makes a series of grunts, which only further her resemblance to walkers.

After a few long seconds though she makes an audible word. "Whassat?"

Artika looks away, over towards the window and nods "You know, like something so the police don't come try to shoot people, I dunno." Looking back and feeling a wave of sympathy as Miko seems to struggle with her words, which only increases her flush and the release of chemicals in the air.

She smells it too, vaguely, some sort of musk which makes her relax, leaning in close as she brushes her fingers over the woman's face.

"It's ok, just stop for a little and then try again... it's what I do, when everything gets weird." She smiles, still not aware of what her inner feelings are causing, even though she does know that she's much better at persuading people to do things than she used to be.

Kumiko immediately hushed, the moment Artika's fingers brushed over her face she stopped trying to talk. Her confusion suddenly became serene, and Miko stared stupidly for a minute before she started talking again. "Gotta walk to the beach and get water." She said fairly clearly before Deborah walked in, and was not followed by a line of dead things.

"Huh-huh-huuuuullo Deborah." Miko said, wondering if she could talk the stinky woman into a bath today.
