River Etive

We stayed last week in a beautiful spot at the top of Airds Bay near Port Appin. Even for Scotland the rain was unusually persistent! Landslides, roads closed and our home for the week surrounded by a foot of water!

This was the best I could do and comes complete with raindrops. Upper stretches of the river full of canoeists with low cloud and limited backdrop so headed off further west. To the left lower flank of Stob na Broige and the spike of An Grianan to the right...It was the sweep of burnt orange moorland grass that caught the eye.
