I got a new camera yesterday and I got a chance to play with it a bit today! This is Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ at 9th and State in Quincy, Illinois. Built in 1878, the structure has undergone renovations numerous times over the years and today is a spectacular sight. The steeple is visible from many vantage points all over town. As we all know.. the camera can see what we can't. I thought I had plenty of room above the top of the steeple but obviously I didn't. There was some distortion that I had to correct also and that didn't help either. I won't make that mistake the next time.
