WW2 Lookout Tower & Bunkers

This tower looked out over "The Wash" marshes at Clenchwarton. Sadly the roof has now collapsed. I was told that some of the four bunkers / pillboxes nearby were used as ammunition stores.

Also, later in the war there was a German POW camp on the field to the left.
