My what a stroke of luck.
We spotted this bird as we drove by simply because we saw it fly into the rapidly drying out marsh.
We stopped pulled over and then tred to locate it which was not easy.
That two tone call can be heard all over the moors but spotting them is another matter.
However we managed and these are the shots I took of it calling and it seemed to me that it could be using it's tongue to create those distinctive call.
