Purple Iris

This is the first of my second ten thousand photos (see yesterdays post) All previous iris shots have been trashed. I like this one better....much better....thanks to a little trick I learned from Scott Kelby on a you tube video...when working a shot always include one or two taken on the diagonal not just the standard horizontal and vertical. First glimpse into my diagonally held camera I knew this iris was going to be a winner...just because it filled the frame well.....the iris was growing straight. To tilt it worked. What do you all think?
