Pathfinder

On Keats Island, Pathfinder is most common in patches lining the trails. The dark green leaves reveal gleaming silver undersides when turned over, allowing a hiker to retrace their steps, following the silver like a trail of breadcrumbs. The tiny flowers unfurled by the plants are only a few millimetres wide, and produce tiny fruits studded with sticky glands, perfect for hitching a ride on passing animals, aiding their dispersal through the forest.
