Wooka Logo
I chose this logo out of my other three because this logo had the old school feel that I ended up liking the most. It has a hand-painted sign kind of feel to it which gives it a vintage charm. The gritty distressed look in the center of the text gives off that vintage old hippy surfer feel that has been lost in most modern bright and flashy logos. I drew this by hand then scanned it into illustrator and refined some of the points. Since I went with a hand drawn look for the "Wooka" part of the logo I decided to go with a classic font for the "Surf Co." part. I used Futura Bold because I felt as though it tied the entire logo together. Futura is an older typeface that has been around for awhile and if you look closely at other vintage or traditional logos, you will notice that Futura is a heavily used font.
