Lapdesk with Dana and Essentials

I have made a laptop desk for writing. I cut it out of a glued-up piece of pine (probably from Estonia) that was discarded outside grad student housing, and cut it to size.

 

It is 24x36 inches (60x90 cm), with a recess to fit around my body and have side pieces for support and for the odd pen or notebook.

 

The photo has labels for the important elements.
