Mulligan Requested

This is one of those shots I wish I could do over.

Shot with some cheap second hand Pentax SLR (NOT a K1000) on some non Kodachrome Kodak slide film, the image quality is poor, but the memories are strong.

In June of 2001 I was 7 months into my first post college job, and rather then spending all my money on camera gear I had spent my first few paychecks on a new truck. In hindsight, I should have dumped the money at the local camera shop rather then the car dealership, but my POS car that I had since high school was not suited for raifanning trips.

On the railway side of things, CP's small fleet of SD90MAC's didn;t last too long in the mountains. Before I really had a chance to shoot the big GM's, they were gone. It would be another 9 years before I would shoot MAC's in quantity, this time on the southern Crowsnest Pass route.

Would I like a mulligan? Yes Sir! But until someone invents a time machine, all I can do is look back and be thankful for the few images captured.

CP 9151 West passes the station name sign Partridge, June 20 2001.
