Super Fleet Elevation
At one time it was common to find a pair of Warbonnet painted B40-8W's leaning into a superelevated curve with a high speed intermodal freight in tow. Built for high speed service over the Santa Fe system, these units enjoyed many days as the pride of the fleet. Fast forward 20 years (or so) and you can still find a pair of B40's leaning into a curve, albeit at 10 mph on a shortline in Saskatchewan! Now wouldn't this pair look good in new paint?
