Demo Days
CN is currently testing a pair of Progress Rail/EMD Tier 4 SD70ace's in the Edmonton area. Originally the units were restricted to trailing position only, however CN had a change of heart and has been using the demo's in a variety of mainline and local service. After a failed attempt earlier this month, I was finally able to find one of the unique units on the head end of train M311. The crew of M311 has finally gotten a light out of Bissell yard, and will finish building their train before heading west out of town.
