Sears Lima Mall

Opened in 1965. The original anchors of the Lima Mall where Sears, JCPenney, and The Leader. The Leader would later be sold to Elder-Beerman. In 1971 a new wing was added to the other side of JCPenney with a Lazarus at the end of the wing. With this layout if anyone wants to get from one side of the mall to the other they must pass through JCPenney. Lazarus became Macy's during the 2005 re-branding. In the fall of 2015 Elder-Beerman announced that they would be closing their Lima location by January 2016.
