Getting Pushed #21: Collage on Love
I'm really VERY sorry to be so late posting this! Ruby Blossom, www.flickr.com/photos/16215823@N06/ , a true artist whose creations are simply marvelous, gave me the following challenge:
" i would like to set you a Collage challenge, the theme should be Love and would be great if you could add it to the Thread i have already opened for these here~

Well, I thought, simple!....errr...not so simple given that I have no expertise in collages or photoshopping...and have been away a lot lately for work and vacation. So, the collage was done, the old fashioned way via about 100 photos that were developed, cut up, and set out on three different boards (see below for the total picture). In the end, I preferred this detail which expresses the theme, I think. The major difficulty I had was photographing it because the photos were glossy and reflected the light....and I think I made it a bit too big with too many elements.
Thank you, Ruby for this challenge! It was a lot of fun--I wanted to get it finished (finally), but I may still re-work the elements yet another time!
