Ancient pines

Past Hanalei, at the end of a 7 mile winding stretch of road, is Ke'e beach. Ke'e beach is the beginning of the Kalalau trail, which goes 11 miles one way into the heart of the Na Pali coastal mountains. I loved these ancient, weathered pines that lined the beach. Like old men, lined up, watching time pass.
