Let Us Pray
This is the sculpture called "Ephemera", one of the eight sculptures by South African artist Daniel Popper that make up the "Human+Nature" exhibit at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL. "Ephemera" is the furthest out of Popper's statues, both in distance from the Visitor's Center and in terms of design. This makes it arguably the least popular of all of the "H+L" statues, but is perhaps my favorite out of all of them.
"Human+Nature" was the latest in an ongoing series of two-year long exhibitions at the Arboretum and ended effective March 1, 2023. It was preceded by the world-renowned "Trolls" exhibition, and a new exhibit will debut in May 2023.
