Snapper Rocks

Coolangatta - Gold Coast - Queensland - Australia

Canon 5D MKII - Canon EF L Lens 17-40mm

This is the back of Snapper Rocks in Coolangatta on the Gold Coast. Otherwise known as the Super Bank. A good time to capture this spot is on a high tide with a small swell, big enough to force the water over the rock ledge and get it to cascade over the pool edge. Combine these conditions with either sunrise or sunset. A big swell will still be good, although you will be constantly wiping spray mist off your filters etc.
