Adventure

The day started out with Marble sulking on her bed. She was bored with all of her toys and the wind was just too windy to run against so an inside adventure was her only option. Phillip tried many times to offer up a few suggestions, but Marble must have had fluff in her ears because she just kept shaking her head. Phillip had one last idea. Marble's favorite book lay under her bed, deep under her bed in a place she was afraid to go. Phillip, always being the braver of the two, crawled under when Marble was busy staring at her favorite finger. Quickly he went under, and quickly he came out. He knew if he made the suggestion for her to read it to him, she would say no. It needed to be her idea. Phillip cozied up into their favorite chair and made the same reading sounds Marble would make when she read the book to him. This got her attention. She stated, "Phillip you know very well that bears cannot read. Now move over and let me show you how it is really suppose to go." Marble fell directly into his trap. No sooner that she started to read, she also began to smile and they were off on an afternoon adventure.
