Homework Excuse

A monster ripped my homework

He didn't seem to care

He tore it into pieces

He threw it everywhere

 

What will I tell the teacher

She'll never believe the truth

I've lied too many times

And I don't have any proof

 

That bitty little rascal

Hid himself away

He left me with a mess

And a not so splendid day
