Uluru 90 mm Panorama

Check the full size panorama. You can just detect some people at the top of Uluru. Taken from the sunset viewing area. A couple of trees block part of the view and this was the best spot in the viewing area. Trouble was you had to get here early as many, many people had the same idea. If you drove a large campervan then good luck finding a parking spot.

This angle is interesting. The rock was tilted 90 degrees from horizontal. There are so many indentations especially near the top.

The sun in June sets more or less directly facing this side of Uluru so this is a good spot to take photos. Would be better to have a raised platform to get above the trees.

As it turned out I found a more open location some distance to the right of this photo and that is where I shot my sunset panoramas. Quite a different view, for sure.

Anyway, here is a 100% original size photo of Uluru. It is rather disappointing that few photographers post original size photos taken in National Parks. You can't sell these photos unless you are a professional and have paid the associated fees.
