Mt Bishop - Wilsons Promontory, Victoria
After a long 7 km climb to the top of Mount Bishop this is the wonderful view. The sun is mostly to the side so the light is acceptable to good during the afternoon. This is a big panorama in the original size. I advise bringing a tripod if you have telephoto lenses. First time that I didn't carry one but I had to keep my backpack light because I had so many lenses. Naturally it is a bit windy at the top but nothing excessive. Well worth the climb as everyone that I passed said on the way up!
The beach in the middle is Squeaky Beach then Norman Beach on the left beyond Tidal River. Whiskey Beach is mostly obscured on the right. That is Mount Oberon on the left.
The orange colours on the right foreground are on a dominant rock face on the mountain.
