EL PESCALLUNES
S’explica, des de temps immemorials, que una nit de cel transparent i de lluna plena, anava un santfeliuenc vorejant el riu Brugent quan va haver d’aturar-se atret per l’encant, mai vist per ell fins aleshores, que li oferia aquell astre que es reflectia en tota la seva plenitud en les aigües encalmades de la riera.
Tan embaladit en va quedar de la bellesa d’aquella lluna, que molt brillava en la foscor de l’aigua, que il·lusionat, se li acudí pensar que la podia haver i decidí pescar-la amb un cove. Però per més que posés el cove dins l’aigua i l’enlairés ben de pressa no aconseguia ficar-la-hi.
El Pescallunes
Algú va veure l’espectacle i en to burleta li digué: què voleu fer? Pescar la lluna?. Des aleshores als de Sant Feliu de Pallerols (Garrotxa) CAT., ens diuen “PESCALLUNES”: gent que s’il·lusiona i té somnis, romàntica, amb ambició i molts projectes, gent que no s’atura, que mira sempre endavant.

THE PESCALLUNES
It is said, since time immemorial, that one night with a clear sky and a full moon, a man from Sant Feliu was walking along the Brugent River when he had to stop, attracted by the charm, never seen by him until then, offered by that star that was reflected in all its fullness in the calm waters of the stream.
He was so enchanted by the beauty of that moon, which shone brightly in the darkness of the water, that, excited, it occurred to him that he could have it and decided to fish for it with a hook. But no matter how hard he put the hook in the water and lifted it up very quickly, he could not get it in.
The Pescallunes
Someone saw the spectacle and said to him in a mocking tone: what do you want to do? Fish for the moon? Since then, in Sant Feliu de Pallerols (Garrotxa) CAT., we have been called “PESCALLUNES”: people who are excited and have dreams, romantic, with ambition and many projects, people who do not stop, who always look forward.
