Museu dels Sants.
El Museu del Sants es troba ubicat a l’edifici d’estil neogòtic que va acollir El Arte Cristiano, primer taller d’imatgeria religiosa, creat a Olot (La Garrotxa) CAT. l’any 1880.
La visita al museu, si es fa entre setmana, permet veure en directe un taller en ple funcionament, i com els artesans elaboren les diferents figures.
El recorregut del museu coincideix amb les diferents fases de producció d’una imatge, començant per l’emmotllatge, seguint pel retoc, la pintura i la decoració.
La producció d’imatgeria religiosa, iniciativa de Joaquim Vayreda, Josep Berga i Boix i Valentí Carrera, va suposar una sortida professional per a molts dels alumnes de l’Escola Pública de Dibuix d’Olot.
L’escriptor Marian Vayreda va viure a l’edifici que avui en dia acull el museu, on encara es conserva –i es pot visitar- el despatx on va gestar algunes de les seves obres.

Saints Museum
The Museu del Sants is located in the Neo-Gothic style building that hosted El Arte Cristiano, the first religious imagery workshop, created in Olot (La Garrotxa) CAT. in 1880.
The visit to the museum, if done during the week, allows you to see live a workshop in full operation, and how the artisans make the different figures.
The tour of the museum coincides with the different phases of production of an image, starting with molding, continuing with retouching, painting and decoration.
The production of religious imagery, an initiative of Joaquim Vayreda, Josep Berga i Boix and Valentí Carrera, was a professional departure for many of the students of the Public School of Drawing in Olot.
The writer Marian Vayreda lived in the building that today houses the museum, where the office where he created some of his works is still preserved - and can be visited.
