El mirador del Gironès
El Santuari de Mare de Déu de Rocacorba, o Castell de Rocacorba, està situat dalt del massís de Rocacorba, a Canet d'Adri (Gironès) CAT., a uns 929 metres d'altitud, just al costat del Puigsou, (992 m) actualment ocupat per repetidors de televisió que s'albiren des de moltes comarques del voltant. És una obra declarada bé cultural d'interès nacional.
En aquest racó de món és on s'hi erigeix solemne, just al cim d'una roca amb forma de proa de vaixell, i on en dies clars permet veure des del Cap de Creus, el Montgrí, les Illes Medes, les Gavarres, el Montseny o el Puigmal.
El santuari es va construir al s. XVIII sobre un antic Castell del s. XI. Té una sola nau i guarda la rèplica de la imatge gòtica que representa a la Mare de Déu de la Pera (l’original es pot visitar al Museu d’Art de Girona).
La seva ubicació el converteix en l’allotjament ideal per la reflexió i el retir espiritual amb prèvia sol·licitud. És declarat Bé Cultural d’interès Nacional.

The viewpoint of Gironès
The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Rocacorba, or Castle of Rocacorba, is located on top of the massif of Rocacorba, in Canet d'Adri (Gironès) CAT., at about 929 meters above sea level, right next to Puigsou, (992 m ) currently occupied by television repeaters that can be seen from many surrounding counties. It is a work declared a cultural asset of national interest.
In this corner of the world it stands solemnly, right on top of a rock in the shape of a ship's bow, and where on clear days you can see from Cap de Creus, Montgrí, the Medes Islands, the Gavarres, Montseny or Puigmal.
The sanctuary was built in the s. XVIII on an old castle from the s. XI. It has a single nave and houses the replica of the Gothic image representing the Virgin Mary of the Pera (the original can be visited at the Girona Art Museum).
Its location makes it the ideal accommodation for reflection and spiritual retreat with prior request. It is declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest.
