El conflicte de Sàhara Occidental encara no s’ha resolt definitivament.
Ara pertany a la categoria dels anomenats conflictes “oblidats” o “congelats”.
El conflicte, en si mateix, no és l’únic assumpte que ha estat oblidat malgrat l’ocupació il·legal del Marroc: també són passats per alt les resolucions de les Nacions Unides, els refugiats, els sahrauís dels territoris ocupats, les seves lluites, les condicions deplorables en què viuen i el seu dret a l’autodeterminació —reconegut— a través d'un referèndum lliure i just.
Als camps, als territoris ocupats o a la diàspora, les dones destaquen com un agent actiu, compromès i fonamental de la resistència.

The conflict in Western Sahara has not yet been finally resolved.
It now belongs to the category of so-called "forgotten" or "frozen" conflicts.
The conflict, in itself, is not the only issue that has been forgotten despite the illegal occupation of Morocco: UN resolutions, refugees, Sahrawis in the occupied territories, their struggles, the deplorable conditions in which they live and their right to self-determination — recognized — through a free and fair referendum.
In the fields, in the occupied territories or in the diaspora, women stand out as an active, committed and fundamental agent of resistance.
