'Book covers on notepaper' in Sew Liberated's Schoolhouse tunic from Sprout Patterns
So, when last seen, this project was just a glimmer in my eye...or a mockup in Sprout Patterns...
So I'm excited to see my fabric design ('Book covers on notepaper') printed in the actual pattern pieces (of Sew Liberated's Schoolhouse tunic which I ordered from Sprout Patterns). I chose the lightweight Cotton Lawn as the fabric type to print the pattern onto, and it feels beautifully smooth & cool.
If you look hard at the picture you can see:
a) the two different scales of the (same) design printed on one piece of fabric; and
b) the pattern pieces labelled 'LEFT SLEEVE' and 'BODICE FRONT RIGHT'.
My next steps are to wash & iron the fabric and then cut out the pieces and sew!
