'A thin crescent moon dips its belly to the West': on basic cotton ultra

'A thin crescent moon dips its belly to the West': printed on basic cotton ultra. This was my entry in Spoonflower's Moon Phases Contest. Line art. © Su Schaefer 2015

The waxing and waning aspects of these moons is shown by pluses and minuses: no prizes for guessing which is which! The title is taken from a poem I wrote a million years ago, back in my even-more-ignorant days when I assumed that this type of moon only ever dipped to the West, that the Southern Cross was stable, and that everyone saw the same things in the night skies.

See 'A thin crescent moon dips its belly to the West' as fabric

See '... thin crescent moon...' as wallpaper too - quite fun I think, but I'm biased.
