Tomorrow my youngest turns 10! On the day before their birthday's I make a portrait of my boys. I try to make it about what is going on in their lives at the moment. This year, Aubrey has been into Roblox, so his portrait is with some of his Roblox figures. He's still a little boy and I wanted his face to reflect the combination of innocence, creativity and mischief that makes up who is is right now. I don't know how much longer it's going to last... Happy birthday little boy!
Lit with two Nikon speed lights bounced off the white ceiling and from windows camera right. One is on camera pointing straight up at the ceiling the other one was directly out of the top of frame pointing up at the ceiling. Both flashes at 1/4 power.
