Getting To Know You...

Shooting Tips:

I think the best tip I can give you, is to be patient... and to make sure you're using the light to your advantage... I came back to this location, when I knew the light was just right... This location was the parking lot of a restaurant in a place called City Island off the Bronx...:))

I have always tried shooting common birds, hoping to create a different way of showing them...

This shot is called selective focus... You hold your camera and literally paste it to your face and eye, no space between you and the camera...

Your head and camera should become one... you should have a camera in continuous shooting mode... Don't make quick head movements... When you see what you want, don't move your head side to side... You can pan, but not side to side... that will create blur... Rather your movement is forward and backward... When I see a bird I want to capture, my movement is straight forward... all the time adjusting the zoom...

and shoot baby shoot!!!!

Have I great evening...
