The Boat Graveyard

Another shot from Dungeness. My personal challenge is to go through all those 'awkward' photographs from my visit there and post them warts and all!

 

Since posting, I now realise this picture is 'rubbish' and there is very little that can be said about it so I may well find a replacement soon!

 

Apologies if you spotted a quick change of image this morning. The one I originally posted was very similar to one I posted not so long ago!

 

"Dungeness is quite unique, the power station dominates the skyline, but the area is strangely fascinating with its quirky buildings and converted railway carriages. It is shingle beach and debris from the fishing boats is evident. The bleakness has its own attraction. The otherwise flat and exposed landscape is punctuated by two lighthouses."
