[DC] デッドショット

Matsuo Furoido. A proud military veteran turned vengeful widower when his wife and daughter were possessed by the terrible Tengu Yōkai and driven to grisly suicide. Broken, Matsuo spends his days relentlessly scouring the Akaishi Mountains in search of this quarry - the dreadful demon of Etchū Province, who is said to take the monstrous form of an atramentous bat. He wields a quiver full of arrows dipped in seven hundred lethal poisons and cloaks himself among the wilting leaves and limber branches of the mountain forests, vowing to purge his homelands of the evils of this world and beyond. He is, the Deadshot of Japan!

So here's my entry to Kaiju Dan's 1K contest. I would have done more if I wasn't a full-time student drowning in homework, but the short bio was more fun to write than I thought it would be.

Also using this post to give some shoutouts to people who really, really deserve more attention. Some of these are people who I've been following for a while who have demonstrated consistent quality, while others are people who are relatively new to Flickr who I think have amazing potential.

Shoutouts:

1. TheBrickLark - Holy moly, this guy has made some incredible customs over the last few months. His figs are astonishingly symmetrical for being hand-painted, and he's produced an amazing variety of DC characters with vibrant color and thoughtful detail. Check out his Jim Gordon Batsuit and his Rebirth Wally!

2. RogueTitan - Jackson's been one of my most faithful supporters since I started on Flickr, and only now that I'm seriously getting into the Rebirth titles do I realize how amazing some of his past Rogueverse figs were at breaking new ground in Lego DC fandom. He also makes amazing figbarf characters of his own, which is pretty unique throughout the Flickr community. Check out his Rogueverse Wonder Woman and give him a follow!

3. NickFord01 - This guy came onto the Flickr scene like a blitzkrieg! I screenshotted his profile when he had only 10 followers, so I apologize for the lateness of this shoutout. But holy moly, does he do a fantastic job at creating gorgeous purist figures and builds from the annals of DC and Marvel. Specifically, check out his 5th dimension imps and X-Men!

4. MrKjito - One of my favorite photostreams to follow mainly due to every shot having a story behind it. There isn't a single build or figure on his photostream that isn't purposely posed, framed, or accompanied by other characters to create a specific scene that any comic book fan would recognize and smile at. Give him a follow!

Thanks for reading this far! If you're here, which would you rather see next? A big Marvel groupshot, or Super Scum II?
