The “Power to the Flower” exhibition at Drents Museum De Buitenplaats in Eelde runs through June 15, 2025.
In the first of the half of twentieth century it was extremely popular to travel by steamship. Th wealthy class could bath in luxery during such a trip. Artist Caral Adolph Lion Cachet designed the interiors of almost a hundred steamships. His furniture, wall panels and carpets were lavishly decorated and sometimes embelished with gold.
