How Peter was born

Peter and Oleg sit together on the couch.

Oleg is taking a nap and Peter is thinking about something

 

PETER:

Oleg?

 

OLEG:

What is it Peter?

 

PETER:

Can you tell me how I was born?

 

OLEG:

I've already told you that once.

You came from the stork..it brought you to Mummy Marian.

It was after sunset in March...several bear years ago.

I remember when you arrived you were nauseous from flying.

PETER:

Um...I think so

(a moment later)

But.... did the stork give birth to me?

 

OLEG:

Yep

 

PETER:

But....I don't look like him

 

OLEG:

Yes...I mean no...um...well.....eh....

You were actually born from stardust and the stork took care of the stardust so that it would grow . It got a face and paws. And after a while....tata.....there you were. Then he delivered you to Mummy Marian.

 

PETER:

Thank you Oleg.

I am very special I think actually.

 

OLEG:

You certainly are Peter.

And now I'm going to take my afternoon nap
