Rotterdam, Witte Huis en Willemsbrug

The Willemsbrug was completed in 1981, designed by C. Veerling and named after King Willem III of the Netherlands. The Willemsbrug is a cable-stayed bridge with a total span of about 318 meters.

 

The 43 meter high Witte Huis (White House) was build in art nouveau-style in 1887 - 1888. When it was finished, it was one of the tallest buildings in Europe. Architect: Willem Molenbroek.
