Fifteenth century recycling

The castle Huis ten Berghe and the Hillegondakerk where both destroyed in the year 1426. For the rebuild of the church the remains of the castle tower were used. The Hillegondakerk in its present form dates from about the year 1500. Of the castle remained only a small ruin.
