Mac 630-0102-E 1986 Analog Board Photos

This is a mid-to-late revision of the original Macintosh analog board that was compatible with the Mac 128k, 512k and Plus. It is unknown if there was an 'F' or later version of this particular board. But it is known that the 661-0462 analog board ultimately superceded the 630-0102 series sometime in 1987.

According to shred of 68kMLA, the '661' prefix designated this board as an Apple 'exchange module.'

szynszyl_99 here on Flickr has uploaded an interesting photo of an 100V US-model analog board with a sticker that reads 630-0103H. This would appear to be a newer model that the 630-0102-E I am showing here. However, I am curious as to the significance of the "3" in that model number. Why not just use the "H"? So it is difficult to determine if indeed that is the latest model analog board of this type.

The traces on this board are almost exactly the same as the original 630-0102 1983 version. The main improvements in this revision lie in the temperature specification of many capacitors, and it also uses the latest revision-C flyback transformer.

Here's my Google Docs Spreadsheet, containing a comprehensive listing of replacement capacitors and other analog board parts. (Keep in mind you will probably need FireFox to view this.)
