Downstairs, outside the entrance to the main hall, there were camera crews interviewing those who came to the Comic-Con in costume. I'm not sure if their intent was to ridicule, or to try to find out more about the type of people who dress up for these events.
What's the angle - are we shocked that people like to dress like superheroes and other costumed characters? It's OK on Halloween, so why not at a comic-convention? Any ridicule directed at costumed people has to allow exemptions for cute girls, right?
