Karl Strauss Chowder

I thought my favorite chowder in San Diego was the Tin Fish Chowder - but I tried the N.E. Clam Chowder at the Karl Strauss Brewpub, and it was excellent too, but in an entirely different way. If I had to vote for my favorite between the two, it would be a difficult decision.

 

I had it with the 20th Anniversary Munich Dunkel. Good pairing.
