Guilty Pleasure on Wing Night
If you buy 2 drinks (and sodas count) at Peggy Dempsey's, you can get wings for 20 CENTS each on Wednesdays. This almost doesn't seem fair, because I can eat a LOT of wings, this time I got 8 honey garlic and 8 honey teriyaki. I probably could have eaten more, but I don't want to torpedo this great promotion.
I know, technically these are half-wings, or wing pieces, and not full wings, but at this price, who cares? 40 cents for a full wing is still an amazing price - and whether I eat 8 full wings or 16 half wings, it doesn't really make a difference. I can still fill up for under four dollars spent on wings.
I think I'll slowly increase the number of wings I order each time, like maybe next time 18 wing pieces, then 20. Because it's dine-in only, and I don't want to spend money on chicken wings that I can't eat.
