Pitmaster's Plate at The Good Steer
This is how I judge a new BBQ restaurant (OK, this place has been around since 1957 so it's not that "new", but it's new to us.). I order the biggest combo they have on the menu and I go to town (If there's no BBQ combo on the menu, I leave.)
This combo included 3 ribs and 2 other meats (I got brisket and pulled pork) along with more of those crispy onion rings and a side of rice. Then I added on baked beans to get a little beans & rice action going.
Everything was great, no complaints, and I came very close to NOT being able to eat all of this. In my defense, I think they gave me 4 ribs instead of the required 3. But I made it through, no leftovers to take home.
