Cowboy Charlie

This card doubles as a Christmas tree ornament. The red paisley printed circle is the back of the card.

 

Used CS3. Isolated Charlie. Added boots from PW blog. Used a variety of transformations to adjust the size to fit Charlie. Duplicated them and vertically reversed them to make reflection. Lowered opacity and added off-white gradient to the reflection.

Cut out and added Marlboro Man's hat (also from PW blog). Scaled to fit Charlie and added berries.

Added red bandana print to second circle for back of card. Used same print for the word Merry (don't remember font). Christmas is Dirtybag. Love Charlie is GiddyupStd. Added drop shadows and green border circle.

Placed leather texture (www.istockphoto.com/stock-photo-4219592-leather-structure...) underneath to make it show up better, adjusted the leather color, and added radial gradient to darken the edges.

Created a round clipping path at the top of the card for the hole. Deleted that part of the card. Added a scaled down, knotted rope to hang it by.

Done
