Japan_Amer_Defining
The Bamboo grove is listed as one of the hundred must-be-preserved sounds of Japan. Walking though the jungle, its hard not to become lost in the symphony of cicadas and brushing bamboo blades. The wind forces sunlight to peer between the tall stalks and fortuitous leaves, and animates the place into an otherwise still darkness. Like the caverns of the mind, the paths of Arashiyama are seemingly endless, and provide refuge from the otherwise bustling city of Kyoto.
