If anybody from the Tate is viewing this and having apoplexy over the thought of flash being used in their pristine galleries, please accept my assurances that these four pictures are absolutely the last flash photos that I will ever take in your fine establishment.
On the technical side, flash shows up detail better because there's no motion blurring as in the other shots. On the downside, it does give bronze statues a much more unnatural appearance than overhead lighing (almost as if they weren't real people.... but that would be silly).
