Shelbey Snyder is a young soprano from Kansas City, Missouri, who is a senior at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Most recently Ms. Snyder spent the summer studying Bel Canto repertoire with the Bel Canto Institute in Florence, where she performed in multiple song recitals. The summer of 2011 She sang the role of Baron von Puck in Offenbach’s La Grande Duchesse de Geroldstein with the Franco American Vocal Arts Institute (FAVA) in Perigueux, France and nearby cities. Shelbey had the pleasure of performing second Lady in a staged concert version of The Magic Flute with Martina Arroyo’s Prelude to Performance summer 2010. www.martinaarroyofdn.org/Participants 2013.html
