Philip K. Dick with Cat

I must say that I had my doubts about reading "The Exegesis" by P.K. Dick, thinking it might be the ravings of someone loosing touch with reality. In fact, it is the record great spiritual quest much like Jung's "Red Book" full of gnosticism and cogent questions about the nature of the human mind. I can read it with real value using the various templates of my other readings of Jung, mythology, religion, gnosticism, and the occult. It is basically a gigantic questing which would make perfect sense to Campbell, Jung, and others around my winter round table. (Note: Now that I am nearly half-way through this 900 pages book I am wondering if he will ever make any real progress, or is he forever caught in a BIP (Black Iron Prison) of his own making?)
