The day ends on this crisp fall day post harvest. It's been an unusual fall, warm and dry. Fire risk was high many days in October and early November. Field fires became an almost daily issue during the harvest process-one spark from a running combine or tractor was all it could take to start a fire. Lately the rains and cooler weather have come,thankfully....
