Harvest is in full swing finally in our area as most of the soybeans are now out.Harvesting corn is much more labor intensive and more time consuming as well. In our area,the big rains in August slowed down the maturation of the corn, keeping it wet so we will have big bills this fall drying it down for proper storage. Exactly the opposite of last year when a late summer drought killed it off early. It goes to show, you can't predict mother nature!
